In 2008, DollsBags had a contest for the funniest amateur handbag video.  The contest was posted to Craigslist and had many submissions.  The winning video was submitted by Brian Thomas and is titled “The Cafe.”  The prize was $200.00.  We are very proud of our amateur actors and appreciate all of the hard work that went into the short video production.  Congratulations to Brian Thomas and Blaise C. McCann!  Great job guys.  The video will be posted to YouTube and our website in the near future.

For 2009 we will have another contest! As a show of appreciation to all of the teachers out there and the very important jobs that each of you have in educating America’s youth, DollsBags is giving away a brand new beautiful Red Fiore Italian Designer Handbag by Bolzano as seen in the picture below ($500 value) to the teacher whose student wins our essay contest.

If you are a High School  student and feel that your teacher is “totally awesome” – tell us why!   In an essay of 2500 words or less, tell us about your teacher, how he or she changed your life,  and what makes him/her so special.  If your essay is chosen as the winning entry, your teacher will receive a brand new gorgeous Italian leather designer handbag!  So get those essays in to us as soon as you can!  Even if your favorite teacher is a male, we are certain that his wife or girlfriend will also appreciate a fine free designer handbag!

Essays should be emailed to us at Contest@DollsBags.com.  Don’t forget to include your name, age, email address, phone number, school’s name, address and phone number, the teacher’s name, and why you think he/she should win the handbag.

A winner will be announced on or around April 1, 2009 and the winning essay will be posted on our website.

Contest Rules and Regulations: Only one essay per student will be accepted.  You must be a FT high school student at a public or private school, between 15 – 18 years of age, and have good attendance.  You must be attending the teacher’s class currently whom you are submitting the essay for.  The student’s essay must be in his/her own words.  Multiple submissions, for the same teacher by multiple students, will not increase the likelihood of that teacher winning the contest.  Only one winner will be chosen.  The information (email, contact, etc) provided to us will not be sold and will not be used for any marketing purposes.  It will only be used for contact purposes should your essay and teacher be chosen as the winners.  Please send essays only – do not send pictures.

If your entry is chosen as the winning essay, you give DollsBags permission to post the essay on our website and use it for future contest promotions.
